1905 The club is founded. Blyth Golf Club plays a nine-hole links course among the sand dunes south of the town, until the land is commandeered for defence during the First World War.
1916 The Old Course. The club moves inland to a 12-hole course off Plessey Road, known fondly as the Old Course. It remains our home for sixty years.
1976 New Delaval opens. A newly built 18-hole course opens at New Delaval, on land reclaimed from the town's mining past.
1991 Members take on the course. The club takes over maintenance of the course itself, beginning the era of members shaping their own course.
2008 Ours outright. Blyth Golf Club purchases the course and clubhouse outright. Masters of our own destiny, at last.
