About Deane Golf Club
Over the last three years the club has taken on some big alterations to bring us in line with the current challenges in golf. The money spent on these alterations has been vast along with a good stock state of the art machinery.
We have installed cross hazards to help with drainage along with tree removal to help airflow.
We have extended three holes quite extensively along with two new greens & five new tees in & around the course.
We also have a new head green keeper that has made some very pleasing changes to our course & with the ongoing touches Deane Golf Club is in outstanding condition with a great member base is a fantastic place to play golf.
This delightful parkland course, one of the oldest in the district nestles along the valley of the River Croal and offers wonderful views of Rivington and the West Pennine moors. We are a long established friendly private members club which welcomes both new members and visitors to enjoy an excellent facility.
