Sitting on the shore of the world famous Menai Straits and nestled below the beautifully rugged Eryri National Park and over looked by Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) we can truly say we have some of the finest scenery of any golf course. The course is an 18 hole parkland lay out, with lush fairways and smooth running Greens. It is almost unique, that a parkland course sits on a coast line only 20 meters away.
Built in 1909 it has developed from an original 9 hole to a fair and challenging 18 hole championship course. The club extends a unique warm Welsh welcome to new members and visitors alike, and is consistently improving the course and its facilities for the modern world while retaining a homely feel The course has held the Boys and Girls Welsh championship, and has hosted some world-renowned leaders in David LLoyd George and Winston Churchill, who met here and played a few rounds while discussing world affairs no doubt.
